He is the protagonist, and one of the two playable characters in the Devil May Cry series, the other being Vergil.

Lunges forward with a sword stab. If you attack him while he lunges foward he'll trip.

Artemis-
Fires a charged shot. Dante can even walk around while charging, and the charge can be cancelled with any move.
Up B[]
Jam Session-
Slides forward on the ground while strumming a solo to create a violet lightning pillar. You cannot stop the sliding,so don't do it near ledges. When sliding on a Trap, he destroys it.
Side B[]
Million Dollars-
Unleashes quick fired rounds from his guns, Ebony and Ivory, in DMC's Twosome Time fashion, ending with a dual charged shot (similar to the finishing blow to Mundus in the first game) and his trademark one-liner "Jackpot".

Devil Trigger-
Taps into his demonic powers to enter into a demon form for a breif period of time. Gives Dante a 3x strength and speed advantage.. Artemis doesn't require charging.
